Student housing is called “Accommodations” at the University of Auckland. Every resident is guaranteed their own room, the Kiwis feel itʻs weird that you share a room with a roommate in the USA. The accommodation I chose is Carlaw Park - Nicholls. Nicholls is a series of student apartment buildings that consist of 3 private bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. The kitchen comes partially furnished with dishes, pots, and a kettle. The living room has couches and a TV provided. The image attached is the view from my bedroom on the first morning I arrived!
